National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live. It’s held on the first Tuesday of August. The event encourages neighbors to get to know each other and their local law enforcement, fostering a sense of community and promoting crime prevention awareness.
The Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office is happy to announce that they will be hosting National Night Out this year at the Eureka City Park on August 5th, 2025 from 5:30pm- 8:30pm. We hope that you will all be able to attend and participate in this community event. All Greenwood County residents are invited to participate.
