- Treasurer's Office -

The Greenwood County Treasurer's primary function is to collect real estate, personal property, intangible and motor vehicle taxes, special assessments and other miscellaneous taxes for Greenwood County, cities, townships, school districts, and other taxing jurisdictions.  The Treasurer apportions and distributes such revenue to local taxing units.  In addition, the Treasurer functions as a bank for all revenue-generating County departments as well as the Division of Motor Vehicles. Because they are the County DMV they can sell vehicle tags and renew driver’s licenses.
