       The County Appraiser is responsible for discovering, listing, and valuing all property within Greenwood County and must follow state laws when meeting these responsibilities.

How does the County Appraiser decide property value?
       The County Appraiser is required to equally value all property in the county according to the current Kansas law. A property's value may alter over time due to physical changes, property values may fluctuate due to local economy. The economy of the entire community may affect the market value of your property negatively or positively.

What is a rendition?
     A rendition is a form for tax payers to list all taxable personal property owned or in his/her control as of January 1. Submitted to the County Appraiser annually.
